Ombré Powder Brows

Ombré Brows is a form of micropigmentation and is meant to mimic softly filled-in brows. This is achieved by using a machine to deposit pigment beneath the skin, achieving a soft, natural, powdery look. It’s designed to give a gradient effect, with the lightest part at the start of the brow and gradually becoming darker towards the tail. If you wish to maintain your brows, a touch-up or colour boost is required after 3-5 years. Aftercare is provided, and a consultation is required before booking.

It can also be offered alone as "powder ombré brows" to mimic a penciled-in brow.

Oily Skin: Microblading alone may result in slightly blurred strokes due to oil production. Micropigmentation (Powder Ombré Brows or Combo Brows) is often recommended for a natural yet defined look.

Dry Skin: Normal-dry skin holds pigment well, allowing microblading strokes to stay sharp and defined. Both techniques work effectively, but microblading might offer a crisper finish.

How should I prepare for my brow micropigmentation appointment?

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, painkillers, and blood-thinning medications for at least 24 hours before your appointment. This is in order to reduce pinpoint bleeding during the procedure, which can dilute the pigment.

Discontinue the use of skincare products containing active ingredients (such as retinol, hydroquinone, vitamin C, AHA/BHAs, salicylic acid, and topical acne medication) for at least 2 weeks prior to the treatment. This is to avoid sensitivity and increase your comfort.

How long does microblading last?

Microblading typically lasts between 1 to 2 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare routine. Touch-ups are recommended every 1-2 years to maintain the look

Does microblading hurt?

Most clients report minimal discomfort during the procedure. A numbing cream is applied beforehand to reduce any pain, making the process as comfortable as possible.

Is microblading permanent?

No, microblading is considered semi-permanent. The pigment fades over time and requires periodic touch-ups to maintain the desired appearance.

The healing process typically takes 10 to 14 days. Full recovery and color settling may take up to 4 weeks. Proper aftercare is essential for optimal results.
